Dr. Ashley Caranto Morford (she/her) is a diasporic Filipina-British settler scholar and educator whose interdisciplinary work is accountable to and in relationship with Filipinx/a/o studies, Indigenous studies, critical race studies, anti-colonial methods and praxis, literary studies, digital media and communication studies, and digital humanities. She is an Assistant Professor of Writing and Literature in the Department of Liberal Arts at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Lenapehoking, the ongoing and unsurrendered homelands of the Lenape Peoples (colonially called Philadelphia). Ashley has a PhD in Literature from the University of Toronto.
